Installation 

• Space & weight: Fully filled with ~137 US gallons (~519 litres) plus rock/substrate the system will weigh heavily — verify floor strength, doorway access, leveling.

• Ventilation & cabinet access: The sump and hardware will go within the cabinet — ensure you have clearance for skimmer, pumps, possibly chiller, wave makers. Make sure the cabinet door access and ventilation are appropriate.

• Lighting height & spread: The RL115 units are strong but you’ll want to ensure the pendant mount allows correct height and spread to avoid shadowing, especially if your display depth is ~60 cm. The ReefBeat app allows fine tuning of spectrum and schedule.

• Plumbing & returns: Even though plumbing is pre-glued, you still will need to select good return pumps, possibly wave makers/powerheads for adequate circulation, and ensure the sump is properly used (mechanical filtration, skimmer, media).

• Livestock load & chemical stability: Large systems can handle more biomass, but also require diligent maintenance: water changes, chemistry monitoring, parameters. The ATO helps with evaporation but you still need to manage salinity, temperature, nutrients.

• Shipping & delivery: Being a large premium system, shipping will likely be via pallet/crate; you’ll need to coordinate delivery, ensure path from street to installation site is free of obstacles.

• Budget: Beyond initial purchase, plan budget for rock, sand, corals/fish, lighting tune-up, equipment (skimmer, pumps, controllers) and ongoing maintenance costs (salt, water changes, power).

• Location: Because it’s a peninsula style you may get viewing from multiple sides, so think about room placement, background, ambient light, cleaning access from sides/back.
