AWC Duo – AutoAqua

ALL-IN-ONE - TOP-NOTCH PERFORMANCE

The Smart AWC Duo is a complete AWC and ATO all-in-one system that automates water changes with ease. This powerful gadget is perfect for any sizes of saltwater and freshwater aquariums (5 gallons to 1,000+ gallons), realizing your dream of auto water change and auto top off regularly and quantitatively.

COMPACT DESIGN - STRAIGHTFORWARD INTERFACE

Its simple and intuitive touch screen interface with clearly defined icons for realtime program status saves you from complicated settings. Allowing you to identify each customization buttons quickly and complete multiple tasks effortlessly.

PRECISE DETECTION - SENSE EVERYTHING

The patented easy-to-install magnetic dual optical sensor can detect water level precisely and ensure accurate water change by filling volume even at a distance of 1 mm and avoid false detection due to water drop and deposits. If the main sensor is defective, the failsafe sensor will be backup and prevent over filling or over drain.

QUICK SECURITY TECHNOLOGY - HIGH LEVEL SAFETY

With a built-in timer, the QST provides a real-time failsafe protection to prevent any failure situation of sensor and pump and detects water empty. The controller interface and audible alarm will not only remind you about any instant accidents but also present system program in realtime.

IMPRESSIVE STABLE - EXCLUSIVE TECHNOLOGY

Exclusive Auto-Water-Change system determined by two optical dual sensors setting for equal water volume. No need to turn off return pump during AWC. An inescapable benefit of lessening the pressure to aquarium system.

VERSATILE INSTALLATION - UNPARALLELED FLEXIBILITY

The connector ports provide our automation system with the wide compatibility to various water refill devices, whether RO water refilling, high head pump, or AC pump.

Enjoy the glow from your reef tank and aquarium flourish.

AWC & ATO in regular and quantitative not only reduces the unstable factor occurring but lets the aquarium more stable and keeps your tank inhabitants happy and healthy.

Smart AWC Duo G2 is the most compact and efficient auto water change system in the world. It meets your need for regular, multiple, and small volume water changes at one time and instant auto top off.

Advantages of using AWC Duo – AutoAqua

  • Combines two useful tasks (water change + top-off) into one system, reducing manual labor.

  • Dual sensors offer redundancy: safety against sensor failure is a major plus.

  • Touchscreen makes configuration more intuitive than many older timer/head-pump-only systems.

  • Quiet brushless DC pumps, which tend to be more reliable and less noisy.

  • Flexible scheduling (can do frequent small changes or larger less frequent ones).

  • The safety features (alarms, timeouts, etc.) reduce risk of overflows, running pumps dry, etc.

Things to Consider

  • Cost: These systems tend to be more expensive than simpler ATOs or manual water-changes.

  • Complexity: More parts (sensors, pumps, tubing, controller) means more points of failure; maintenance is necessary.

  • Sensor maintenance: Optical sensors (especially if exposed to salt creep or algae) may need cleaning to remain accurate.

  • Pump capacity limits: While 280 L/h is decent, for very large aquariums or high evacuation/resupply distances, the system may struggle. (Head height matters.)

  • Tubing & installation requirements: Need to plan routing of intake and drain tubes, make sure siphon breaks are correctly set, ensure the reservoir(s) are properly positioned.

  • Power-outage behavior: Even though some safety features exist, power failures or unexpected shutdowns might still cause issues.
