Description

REEFER 625 G3 Deluxe – White (incl. 3 X RL115 & arms), Red Sea Aquarium

The REEFER 625 G3 is one of the larger models in the G3 range of Red Sea’s REEFER line — designed as a premium foundation for serious reef aquarists. The “Deluxe” tag signifies that the system comes bundled with lighting (in this specific variant: 3 × RL115 LED fixtures and mounting arms) in addition to the display tank, integrated sump/plumbing, cabinet/stand, and built-in automation systems. It’s essentially a near “turn-key” foundation for a large reef system (you still supply live rock, skimmer, flow gear, corals/fish etc.).

REEFER 625 G3 Deluxe - White (incl. 3 X RL115 & arms), Red Sea Aquarium

When you purchase this 625 G3 Deluxe (White, incl. 3 × RL115 & arms) you typically get:

  • The display aquarium (625 size) built to G3 standard: euro-braced, ultra-clear glass, high glass thickness.

  • The marine-spec stand/cabinet in White finish — designed for larger volumes with reinforced supports, adjustable level feet.

  • The integrated sump and pre-installed plumbing system: includes glass sump compartment, mechanical filtration section, return pump chamber, pre-glued piping.

  • 3 × ReefLED G2 115 LED fixtures + necessary mounting arms/pendant hardware (as per bundle).

  • The ReefATO+ system (auto top-off pump/sensor, temperature monitor, leak detector) included.

  • Some features for ready filtration set-up: the sump is “ReefMat-ready” (for fleece roll filters) and the plumbing is optimised for quiet, efficient flow.

  • Standard manufacturer warranty (3 years) plus extended warranty (5 years) if registered within specified period (depending region).

  • What’s not included: items like the return pump(s), wave makers/powerheads, protein skimmer, live rock, substrate, corals/fish, test kits — these are to be added separately.

Some of the standout aspects of this system:

  • Euro-brace & thick ultra-clear glass: For large volumes, structural rigidity is crucial. The G3 models 425 and above use braced glass and thicker panels, giving strong construction and better clarity.

  • Reinforced cabinet/stand: For 525 and above, the stand is reinforced with aluminium supports in front, and uses marine-spec plywood to withstand marine environment (humidity, salt spray).

  • Advanced plumbing/flow: The redesigned G3 plumbing system features: an enlarged rectangular inlet for quieter down-flow, hydrodynamically superior piping to reduce turbulence, “ReefGate” gate valve for fine drain flow control, curved return outlets to improve water distribution. These improvements help with circulation, reduce noise, and increase efficiency.

  • Integrated filtration foundation: The sump is well-designed with compartments for mechanical filtration (filter socks/media cups), skimmer chamber, return pump chamber, and potential refugium section. The plumbing is pre-installed, reducing DIY errors.

  • Smart automation (ReefATO+): The system includes water level automation, temperature monitoring and leak detection. Given the large volume of this tank, automated top-off and monitoring are very beneficial.

  • Lighting ready: The included 3 × RL115 lights provide strong initial lighting coverage. The lighting units are controllable via the ReefBeat App (for schedule, clouds, lunar effects, etc) — even though this listing’s bundle is RL115, some users may prefer a higher output variant (RL170) depending on goals.

11. Professional main sump

The main sump is refugium-ready, containing all the filtration functions, and has an adjustable height skimmer chamber, enabling you to set the water level between 20-28cm (7.9”-11”) for optimal skimmer performance.

Extension sump (S-950 only)

The extension sump can be used for a dedicated frag tank, a larger refugium, or simply for extra filtration. Alternatively, the extension sump can be disconnected from main sump, and used as an R/O reservoir or for saltwater changes.

Chiller & hardware chamber

All REEFER Peninsula G3 models come with a separate chamber for a chiller, controllers or other equipment.

Slide-out control panel

Provides easy mounting and access for controllers and other equipment. *Actual color of cabinet interior is black.

REEFER DC Skimmer

The ReefBeat App-controlled REEFER DC Skimmers include self-leveling technology that prevents over-skimming and prevents full cups from spilling while continuing to aerate the water.

ReefRun G2 DC Pump

The ReefRun G2 DC Pumps are highly efficient, powerful yet virtually silent pumps, with flow rates ranging from 4000 to 12000 lph (1060-3200 gph). They can be operated locally with their integrated Flow Controllers, or can be linked to ReefBeat App via the ReefRun Dual Controller for advanced features and control.

REEFER 625 G3 Deluxe - White (incl. 3 X RL115 & arms)

REEFER 625 G3 Deluxe system is ideal for hobbyists who:

  • Want a large, premium reef system and are serious about reefing (corals, fish, aquascaping) — the display volume (~500 L) gives significant room.

  • Prefer a “foundation system” where the major components (tank, stand, sump, plumbing, lighting) are included and integrated — reducing the amount of custom tank build and plumbing work.

  • Plan to stock a mix of corals (LPS, many SPS) and fish, and want a robust infrastructure (volume, flow, lighting, clarity) to support growth and stability.

  • Are ready for the logistical and financial commitment: sizeable footprint, heavy weight, budget for equipment and maintenance, ongoing parameters monitoring.

  • Want better stability and buffer (large volume helps) versus smaller aquariums, and appreciate high-end build, minimal compromise.

Installation

  • Space & weight: When filled with water (~620 L including sump), rock, substrate and equipment, the system will weigh many hundreds of kilograms. Ensure your floor and stand location are capable of supporting this load. Leveling is critical.

  • Footprint: Based on dimensions (~150 cm length × ~65 cm width), ensure you have enough free floor space plus clearance around the tank for service and access. Consider doorways, installation path, stand depth.

  • Lighting & coral goals: Although the bundle includes 3 × RL115, check your aquascape depth and coral type; if you plan very deep rockwork or heavy-growth SPS, you may want to evaluate whether additional lighting or higher output fixture (RL170) might be needed.

  • Circulation & equipment sizing: Even though plumbing is optimized, you must choose proper return pump(s), circulation/powerheads and skimmer for your load. Good flow, skimming, and filtration are essential.

  • Maintenance & water management: Larger systems offer greater stability, but also require more consumables (salt, power), more rock, larger coral load, and the potential for bigger consequences if something fails. Regular testing (alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nitrates, phosphates) and water changes remain important.

  • Installation logistics: The system likely ships as a large crate/pallet. Clearing your installation path, planning delivery, ensuring final placement, and factoring in time for leveling and plumbing before filling are key.

  • Budget for extras: Beyond the bundle you’ll need substrate, live rock, corals/fish, return pump(s), skimmer, wave makers, test kits, and ongoing supplies.

  • Startup period: After setup you’ll still want to allow time for rockwork to mature, system to stabilise, and coral loading to ramp gradually to avoid parameter shocks.

Pros:

  • Premium build quality: large volume, high-clarity glass, reinforced stand, integrated sump and plumbing, factory lighting.

  • Strong foundation: With the 625 size and G3 plumbing/flow upgrades, you have a system capable of high performance and long-term growth.

  • Lighting included (3 × RL115) simplifies the initial purchase and gives you coverage out-of-the-box.

  • Automation features (ATO, leak detection) add convenience and help protect your investment.

  • Large volume gives you more flexibility in aquascape, coral/stock selection, and more buffer against parameter swings.
