D‑D AquaScape Epoxy Purple is a two-part epoxy putty expertly formulated for aquarium use—suitable for both saltwater and freshwater environments, especially reef setups.

Color & Curing

• Designed to cure underwater to a coralline-purple hue, mimicking natural coralline algae and blending seamlessly into your rockscape

• Out‑of‑water curing results in a darker, deep-red shade, still resembling coralline algae

Use Cases

Ideal for:

• Bonding live rock into secure reef structures

• Frag prepping: attaching corals to plugs or rock

• Creating clam bases to protect from bristle worm attacks

• Repairing leaky pipework, broken equipment, or bonding accessories to aquarium glass

• Supporting heavy formations until fully cured

Handling & Performance

• Sticky on wet surfaces, simplifying underwater applications

• Set time: begins hardening in about 3–5 minutes; achieves semi‑hard state by 3–4 hours; fully cures within 24 hours

• Once cured, it's machinable: can be drilled, sawn, sanded, filed, tapped, and painted; heat resistant up to ~130 °C
