Best Practices

• Mount vertically with the cable end / controls somewhat out of flow but well above or near the edge so the power cable isn’t under water stress.

• Ensure good water circulation in the tank so that warm water generated spreads evenly, avoiding cold spots.

• Use a good external thermometer to verify the actual water temperature matches heater setting.

• During water changes or when draining, ensure heater remains submerged or is switched off to avoid thermal shock or dry-run conditions.
